Alaqua Animal Refuge Presents~
the 2nd Annual Animal Cruelty Investigation and Prosecution Seminar

This FREE seminar will review investigative techniques beginning with how to respond to an animal complaint, what to do at the crime scene, how to utilize shelter and private veterinarians, and follow the cases through to a successful prosecution. Key speakers, such as Dr. Melinda Merck, CSI Forensics Vet, Laura Bevan, Eastern Director for the HSUS, Eric Abrahamsen, Prosecutor, and local officials who will present key cases for review.

Who Should Attend: Law Enforcement Officers, Animal Control Officers, Prosecutors, Veterinarians, Directors of Humane Societies & Rescue Organizations. Closed to the General Public.

Certificates of attendance will be issued for accreditation and continuing education purposes.
